These feeding bottles are made from borosilicate glass and have natural latex teats for parents who would prefer to avoid using plastic / silicone bottles and teats when feeding their baby

The bottles are robust, easy to clean and are both heat and thermal shock resistant

There is currently a lot of discussion about the effect of the micro amounts of plastic that we consume from our diet and what adverse health effects that it could be causing. It seems clear that we don't know as much as we thought about the effects on our bodies and therefore there is a case for reducing / eliminating the plastics that we use to pack food products.

There have been concerns since the 1930's that some components of plastics used in packaging for human use mimic the effects of oestrogens. eg BPA which is used in manufacture of polycarbonate.

It is also known that some of these chemicals can leach from the plastic bottles into the liquids they contain, particularly from plastic bottles which are either old or have been repeatedly washed in a dishwasher.

This has raised concerns, as to whether this could promote breast cancer cell growth in humans as well as decreased sperm counts.
